Signal Watcher Receiver NE-GW001A

The Japanese company Inaba Denki Sangyo has developed a wireless sensor based on EnOcean technology, allowing easy monitoring of the status of machines and equipment in factories.

The Signal Watcher is attached to signal lamps and transmits the following information:
Light ON / Blinking / Light OFF

Features of the Signal Watcher

The Signal Watcher is mounted on the signal lamp on the outside of machines. By detecting light signals, the sensor collects information about the machine’s status.

For factory equipment such as universal machines, leasing machines, and inspection machines, which require calibration, reconfiguration and operational management can often be challenging for users.

This is where Inaba’s sensor comes into play:

  • Since it is galvanically isolated from the machines, it can be easily retrofitted without requiring machine reconfiguration.
  • This is possible because the energy-harvesting solution, based on EnOcean technology, operates without batteries or cables and requires no maintenance.
  • Solar energy is entirely sufficient for its operation.
  • Thanks to the integrated buffer battery, the sensor continues functioning for several years even in rooms without light.
